tietiy.in describes the Indian stock market with numbers we compute ourselves. This page sets out the rules every page on the site follows, so you can judge how far to trust what you read.
1. Two kinds of pages
- Data pages — the 437 stock pages, the market pages and the daily stories. They are generated by code after each NSE close. The numbers come from end-of-day price and volume data; the sentences come from fixed templates that were written and reviewed by a human once, then filled with each stock's own figures. Two stocks in the same situation are described in the same words on purpose — consistency is the point.
- Articles and Learn pages — written long-form pieces. Drafts may be prepared with software assistance; every article is reviewed and edited by the operator before it is published, and every number in it is checked against our own data.
2. Describe, never advise
We describe what price has done and how often similar situations occurred before. We never tell anyone to buy, sell or hold, we never publish price targets or stop-loss levels as instructions, and we never call a stock a "pick" or a "sure thing". Labels such as "conditions aligned" or "no clear setup" are outputs of written rules, explained on the Methodology page — they are classifications of today's data, not predictions. An automated language check rejects pages that contain advice phrases before they are built.
3. Honest numbers
- Every data page shows the trading date its figures belong to. If a page could not be refreshed, it keeps showing the older date rather than pretending to be current.
- Base rates are shown as counts ("4 times in the last 90 sessions"), never as win rates or probabilities of profit.
- Our own research has found that end-of-day price patterns do not reliably predict direction. We say so, and we do not present historical patterns as forecasts.
4. Corrections
If you find a wrong number, a broken page or a confusing sentence, email contact@tietiy.in with the page address and the date shown on the page. Data errors are fixed in the pipeline, so the correction applies to every affected page from the next refresh onward. Material corrections to articles are noted at the end of the article with the date.
5. Conflicts of interest
The operator trades Indian equities on their own account. No stock is written about because of a position, and no company, broker or advertiser pays for coverage or can review a page before it is published. Advertising is served by third-party networks (see the Privacy Policy), and any affiliate link is disclosed under our Affiliate Disclosure.
6. Language
Pages are written in plain English, with a little Hinglish where it reads more naturally for Indian readers. Technical terms link to a Learn explainer. Every state shown in colour also carries a text label, so no information depends on colour alone.
7. Who to contact
